Alan E. Ryman is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of New Jersey admitted in 2007. Alan earned his Juris Doctor degree from the New England School of Law in 2007. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Portland State University in 1994. He has interned for the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, Trial Division, and Law Office of Tyler Fox. Alan was a Judicial Intern for Honorable Kenneth Desmond, East Boston Division, Boston Municipal Court Department, 2006-2007 and Law Clerk to Honorable Ann R. Bartlett, Hunterdon County Superior Court, Family Division 2007-2008. Alan is a member of the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators and is a member of the Hunterdon County and Morris County Bar Associations. Alan also is a member of the New Jersey Collaborative Law Group.
He is a court qualified Family Law Mediator, a trained Family Law Mediator, and a trained Collaborative Divorce Attorney. Alan also practices in the area of Estates and Trusts.
He has attended several ICLE courses including Negotiating the Deal: Key Clauses, Strategies and Pitfalls in Marital Settlement Agreements; QDROs and Other Pension Related Issues for Family Lawyers; 2008/2009 New Jersey Civil Case Law Update; and Nuts & Bolts of Elder Law and Estate Planning and Collaborative Divorce.
